Laden Trail
Hwy 2010, off Hwy 522.  Originally built as a forest fire access road, this mountain pass offers some of the mountains finest examples of flora & fauna.  (606) 573-4156.
 
Martins fork Lake
Lakeside recreation for Harlan County and the surrounding area. . Visitors have numerous activities from which to choose, including: fishing, hunting, picnicking, camping, sunbathing, hiking, boating, and others.

Camp Blanton
Hwy 840, 5 miles out of the city of Harlan.  Home of the Boy Scouts of America and now operated by a private trust it is the campsite for scout groups.  Contains a small lake, dining hall and cabins.  CCC built dam and structures.  Rentals for family reunions, meetings and camping.  (606) 573-9871.
